Course Description
- To enroll in Saga’s “Confined Space Non-Entry Rescue” course trainees must have a valid certificate in Saga’s “Confined Space Pre-Entry” course (or an equivalent course).
- Saga’s “Confined Space Non-Entry Rescue” course is designed to introduce the trainee to the basic concepts, hazards, hazard control processes and safe work procedures associated with a non-entry rescue in confined and restricted spaces.
- The goal of “Confined Space Non-Entry Rescue” is to ensure the trainee is familiar with the proper procedures, and use of equipment in performing a non-entry rescue from a confined and restricted space.
- The trainee should understand the criteria defining a non-entry rescue.
- The trainee should understand the elements of a confined space rescue plan.
- The trainee should be aware of the personnel, tools, and equipment needed to perform a non-entry rescue.
- The trainee should understand the actions required to perform a non-entry rescue, without causing further harm to the casualty.
- The trainee should be able to demonstrate that they understand basic concepts, hazards, hazard control processes and safe work procedures associated with a non-entry rescue situation in a confined and restricted space.
Course Completion
The quizzes at the end of each chapter are intended and designed to strengthen your understanding of course contents. Successful completion of the chapter quizzes is required, and you have two retries of each quiz to achieve this.
Upon successful completion of this course, a unique digital certificate, valid for three years, will be available to download and print.
