Course Description
This course follows British Columbia’s Workers Compensation Act, and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, as well as those established by the Canadian Standards Association and recommendations by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS). It provides the minimum requirements for the training of operators for Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) and is intended to supplement a company’s larger Health & Safety Management System. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that its workers are competent to perform the duties requested of them. The goal of this program is to ensure operators have the basic knowledge and skills to operate a loader in a safe manner.

Course Completion
The quizzes at the end of each chapter are intended and designed to strengthen your understanding of its contents. A passing mark of 80% is required and you have two retries of each quiz to achieve this. Upon successful completion of this course, a unique digital certificate will be available to download and print.
